ATC limited time offer

What a difference some lovely temperate weather makes. The heat has lifted and I feel like myself again. I've been camping out at the kitchen table for the most part making ATC's ( artist trading cards)  for a few kind folks who care to trade with me.

Here's one I made yesterday, an Egyptian Mermaid playing card

It has occurred to me that, since I like making them so much, I would extend the offer to those of you who'd care to have one of these original tiny works in trade for one of your own. All you need to do is make ANYTHING you like on a 2.5 x 3.5 inch format. It could be a drawing, a painting, a collage, even sewing or any such thing, and certainly need not be a mermaid, though that seems to be what I'll be doing as I'm on a roll.

If you contact me at enchantedblueplanet@hotmail.com by the end of July with your mailing address, please make a commitment to send your ATC by the end of August. Wouldn't that be fun? This has been a trend for over a decade now and you can find all kinds of sites who would also be willing to trade for your ATC.

The garden loves the rain we got yesterday

Here's a close-up with a surprise hitchhiker

Not the best shot of these amazing Peruvian Daffodils but I love them all the same

The Hydrangea still bowed from yesterday's rain

The Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) I've shown here are slated for others.  They've been great fun, and highly addictive. I cut them from Strathmore Windpower 140 lb (300 g/m) Mixed Media with a vellum surface which is great for the pen and India Ink I draw with and takes the watercolour very well. I've used gel pens on some. I expect I'll be experimenting with more media as time goes by.

Please feel welcome to join me. Remember the contact deadline is by the end of July.

Your water color mermaids are ''delish'' - love your photography - you have a unique eye, and do a fabulous post-treatment of your work! Muchos Kuddos.

o, and I just loved,a comment/life anecdote you wrote about ''kindness'' and shared on Jenny Mende's blog - printed it out actually and placed it in one of my project binders - thanxs
